Rites Scheduled For Ex-Deputy
Funeral services for Stephen O. Lincecum, 78, of 406 S. Montclair, a former deputy sheriff and retired owner of Jordan Floral Co. here, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lamar & Smith Funeral Chapel. Entombment will be in Hillcrest Mausoleum.
A native of Gonzales, Lincecum died here hursday [sic].
Lincecum served as a deputy sheriff and bailiff in 101st District Court here from 1942 to 1948. He began operating Jordan Floral Co. in 1958 and continued in that business until he retired earlier this year.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a charter member of Landmark Masonic Lodge and a member of Hella Temple Shrine. He had lived in Dallas 49 years.
Survivors: A son, Robert E. Lincecum of Fort Worth; a sister, Mrs. Samuel Patton of Fort Worth; a brother, P. R. Lincecum of Arlington, and three grandchildren.
