    • - According to the Peach County, Georgia Federal Census, Henry owned his property, and it was valued at $2,000.

      - Mr. Peavy, assisted by his son, William Austin, operated the store which had been founded by his father, and the firm of H. J. Peavy and Son was established in a new brick building. After a fire and a renovation, the new building housed a food and a hardware store, bearing the original name.       - H. J. Peavy's store was built in 1875 near its present [1972] location in Byron, Peach County, Georgia...Friendship, the first school built in 1850, was located near the church of the same name. The first teacher was Mr. Beasley. The second school stood on the present [1972] site of Byron's water tank...Pupils in the 1860s included the...Peavys...       - According to the 1920 Houston County, Georgia Federal Census, Henry and his family was living next to his daughter, Sadie Warren, and her family.

      - H. J. Peavy's home on Railroad [Heritage] Street in Byron, Houston [Peach] County, Georgia was built in 1887 by David C. Dunbar. Henry's daughter Nell and her husband later lived in the home.
