  • Notes
    • - The Atlanta Constitution, 8 December 1907:

      SOCIAL LIFE IN MACON

"Another pretty affair of the same date [Tuesday] to another December bride was the "linen shower" given by Mrs. Henry Lowe [Mary Elizabeth Mumford] to Miss Claribel Peavy. Mrs. C[harles] D[rury] Peavy and Miss Rash received with Mrs. Lowe. There were quantities of dainty lingerie articles to attest the popularity of Miss Peavy, the only regret of the occasion being the fact that she will make her home in another city."
