      "Brother of Mrs. W. Nugent Dies in Shreveport

      John O. Lincecum of Bossier City passed away Thursday morning, August 4, in a Shreveport hospital. He was 59 years old.

      Funeral services were held in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 Friday. Burial was in the Hill Crest Cemetery with Bro. Murphy, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bossier City officiating. Mr. Lincecum was a member of that church. Assisting in the final rites were Bro. Bradford, pastor of the Georgetown Baptist Church.

      Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Gladys Waits Lincecum; one daughter, Mrs. John Ropp of Shreveport; four brothers, Willard and Odie Lincecum of Georgetown, Hodge Lincecum of Joinerville, Texas; Howcott Lincecum of Tioga; and three sisters, Mrs. I. E. Christy of Shreveport, Mrs. Walter Nugent of Winnfield, and Mrs. Louis Roberts of Georgetown.

      Mr. Lincecum was a member of the police force in Shreveport for 18 years."
