      Obituary

      THOMSON
      Funeral services for William Alexander Thomson, 83, Valera ranchman, were held Sunday at Valera with Rev. Roy A. Langston conducting.

      He had been residing with a son, F. C. Thomson at Temple for the past several months. He was born in Washington county, Texas, where he spent his boyhood and early manhood, September 25, 1849. He married Miss Clata [sic] Lincecum of Long Point in 1875.

      Those who survive him include, Francis Curtis Thomson of Temple, Leslie Alexander Thomson of San Angelo, Mrs. R. A. Langston of Gatesville, all children.

      Upon his second marriage he was wed to Miss Kate Shepard of Thorp Springs. To that union were born William Casey Thomson and Richard Kenneth Thomson, both of Lampasas.

      He became a christian early in life.

      Funeral arrangements were handled by the Mead Furniture and Undertaking Company.
